Through the promotion of dialogue on problems related to awareness, diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and palliation, IGET wants to improve the quality of services and the lives of patients suffering from malignant diseases of the gastroenterological system. IGET, by encouraging communication and promoting hodograms through the system as well as standards of care to which every user is entitled, wants to equalize the care of gastroenterological tumors with the rest of the EU. Collaboration between patients, medical and non-medical staff and survivors is essential.

The Kenyan Network of cancer organizations is the national umbrella body of cancer civil society organizations active on various aspects of cancer control in Kenya. MAS Cancer Institute aimed at providing the best of Oncological Care to those who need it. MAS is a NABH accredited 50 bedded tertiary care Oncology center situated in the Tamluk, East Medinipur (just beside the Haldia Mechada main road) West Bengal. It was one of the first cancer centers in both East and West Medinipur District. MAS now has a good intervention radiology unit for doing minimally invasive procedure for support to terminal cancer patient. Her children saw a need to establish a foundation in her name that will educate, increase awareness and sensitize the general public on Cancer and other dreadful illnesses such as Tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, Malaria etc and cater for the wellbeing of the infected persons hence most of those infected die as a result of knowledge gap/care. The screening Centers will facilitate early detection of the disease, accurate assessment and allow appropriate management before the disease becomes life threatening. _
