February Members Meeting

The Global Colon Cancer Association holds an online monthly member meeting, bringing advocates together to connect, share ideas, and unite for our common goals. At the February meeting, we focused on the upcoming Colorectal Cancer Awareness month in March. Blue Hat Bow Tie Weekend is March 28-31!

Our very own Candace Henley shared her story, the history of the Blue Hat Bow Tie initiative, and ideas on what members can do to raise awareness of colorectal cancer where they are.

GCCA team member and stage IV colorectal cancer survivor, Tom Vibert, enlightened us on what immunotherapy is as he was preparing for his interview with the Cancer Research Institute!

We were reminded of the power of collaboration. Indeed, the world is vast, but with collaboration, it becomes a little smaller, a little closer, and a lot more impactful.  

Our next meeting is March 19 at 8am UTC, we hope you’ll join us!
